faq
In partnership with Regal London (the building’s owner), a new team will run the building from Saturday 9th December. That team consists of David and his business partner Dan, two faces you know well in Luke and Romeo, and one fresh face in Nathan.
As this team is working directly with the property owner, members can rest assured that their long-term future at Shoreditch Exchange is secure. David and Dan come from the world of coworking and property – so you’re in safe hands – while Luke, Romeo and Nathan are the champions of community!
If you have any issues during your time at Shoreditch Exchange then Luke, Romeo and Nathan (our Community Team) are your first port of call. You can reach them at luke@shoreditch-exchange.co.uk, romeo@shoreditch-exchange.co.uk and nathan@shoreditch-exchange.co.uk. And you can email David on david@shoreditch-exchange.co.uk.
As you may have seen in the news, WeWork is closing a number of their spaces in the UK. Hence why we’re stepping in. Luke, Romeo and ourselves love this building and community and want to see it continue to grow.
You can continue to use your office/desk/membership as you have been. The only thing you need to do is sign a new membership agreement with us (the new Shoreditch Exchange team) as WeWork will terminate your existing one on 8th December.
To see and sign your new agreement, please book a meeting with David (the MD of the new team). You can book a meeting here.
The meeting is so you can sign your new service agreement with Shoreditch Exchange and keep your access to the building after Friday 8th December. After that Friday, WeWork will no longer be running the building and will terminate your access if you haven’t signed a new service agreement. Our meeting doesn’t need to take more than 15 minutes, but it’s a good chance to properly meet and for us to hear how you want us to make this space even better.
Head here to book a time that suits: here.
No. We will match the monthly membership fee, term length and deposit you have in place with WeWork. Your new member agreement includes the same conditions and fees as your previous agreement with WeWork.
WeWork is handling this. We don’t have any control over this one so it’s best you contact them directly.
Admin-wise? No. We have already taken steps to ensure your current services (like wifi, events and free coffee) continue beyond 8th December.
Atmosphere-wise? No. Luke and Romeo (with the help of new Nathan) will make sure that the good stuff continues.
Experience-wise? Yes! Over the coming months we’ll be investing significant money to add further amenities and services that improve your time here. We are looking at new facilities like a Creator Studio and Gym, and further improving the outdoor terraces. We’ll keep you updated with progress and, of course, if you have any ideas or thoughts on how we can improve your time here then please do let us know.
From 11 December, you will be able to book via the new Shoreditch Exchange website: www.shoreditch-exchange.co.uk. Our app will soon be live too.
If you would like any help with bookings please speak to Luke, Romeo or Nathan at the desk or email them at luke@shoreditch-exchange.co.uk, romeo@shoreditch-exchange.co.uk or nathan@shoreditch-exchange.co.uk.
If you have booked a meeting room for a date after the 8th December, you will need to make a new booking. From 11 December, you will be able to book via the new Shoreditch Exchange website: www.shoreditch-exchange.co.uk or speak to the team
After Friday 8th December, WeWork will no longer be running the building and will terminate your current agreement. If you haven’t signed a new service agreement with the new Shoreditch Exchange team by that date then WeWork will want their entry keycards returned and you will lose access to the building.
Because the things you like aren’t changing: the Community Team, the kitchens, the people, the location, the look and feel. Plus, even more good things are on the way.
You can book via the new Shoreditch Exchange website: LINK. Our app will soon be live too. You can also sign up to a hot desk membership so we can see you more often.

No. Luke and Romeo will be here as usual, joined by Nathan who you’ll meet in the coming weeks.
No (assuming you sign the service agreement by 8th December).
Yes (although we’re just waiting for Hackney to grant us an alcohol licence so hold tight on the taps).
Short answer, no. Slightly longer one, once we settle into the space we will make some tweaks but only if we think they’ll improve your time here.
